Ronald Naldi
Biographical Notes

Ronald Naldi, internationally acclaimed lyric tenor, has brought his art to the stages of the Metropolitan Opera, Verona Opera, Opera da Camera of Rome, L'Opera Francais, New Jersey State Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Salzburger Landes Theater. His festival appearances include Caramoor, Spoleto (Italy), and Waterloo. His symphonic engagements include the Milwaukee, Miami, Minneapolis, and Buffalo Orchestras among many. He has sung five World Premier operas and the American premiers of three other operas; and performed the Metropolitan Opera premier of Janacek's Makropulos Case. In addition to performing adventurous new roles and little known repertory, Mr. Naldi lists most of the grand lyric tenor roles in his credits: the Duke in Rigoletto, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Alfredo in La Traviata, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, and Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor. Ronald Naldi is also heard on a variety of current television commercials singing operatic selections, particularly for the Olive Garden Restaurant.
